Mediation Services For Men & Women
Mediation is an informal process in which a trained third party acts as a facilitator to help parties reach agreements and or resolve disputes. Mediation is quick, private and relatively inexpensive. The process of mediation can help to preserve relationships between the parties by avoiding impasse and acrimony, often created by litigation.
As a trained mediator, I can assist you with creating your Joint Parenting Agreement. Often, attorneys will refer couples to mediators for this part of the divorce process or couples can choose, on their own, to proceed in this manner to create their own, personalized and customized Allocation of Parenting Responsibilities Judgement.
I also work with an attorney to offer Co-Mediation. The Attorney would mediate your MSA, which is a necessary component of your Dissolution of Marriage legal document. The MSA (Marital Statement Agreement) covers the division of assets, child support, spousal support and any other financial matters/decisions. Having co-mediators offers unique benefits. If we mediate both the MSA and the Allocation of Parenting Responsibilities Judgement, you will be given what is called a Memorandum of Understanding, or a MOU. The MOU is what you bring to an attorney, who will then create the legal document necessary to present to the court and the Judge, in order to procure your Dissolution of Marriage Document .legal divorce papers.
Your mediator serves as .
- Facilitator of communication
- Educator
- Catalyst for change
- Resource
- Neutral 3rd party
- Process manager
- Consultant
"Thank you Linda and Anne (co-mediator, attorney) for the wonderful service that you provided in helping mediate the dissolution of marriage for Andrea and me. Your knowledge of the law and your understanding of our needs made this difficult time so much easier to manage. By meeting with you regularly and talking out our concerns, we were able to maintain a friendship that has helped ensure that our daughter's best interest and needs are continually met."

"The process of going through divorce was one of the most difficult situations I've ever had to face. Mediation was one of the best decisions I've ever made to deal with the challenging circumstances. Mediation kept us out of court, minimized the time and cost of the process and most importantly, gave us a life after divorce. Linda and Anne's (co-mediator, attorney) knowledge, genuine compassion and fair approach guided us to resolve even the most difficult conflicts. We were empowered to create co-parenting and financial agreements that best fit our needs. We were given problem solving and communication strategies to help us enter a new chapter in our lives. We were equipped with tools to handle possible future disagreements, post-divorce. I cannot think of a better gift to give my children while helping them adjust to this life changing event. I want to thank Linda and Anne, from the bottom of my heart, for their time, objectivity, genuine care and patience. Their services were invaluable and life changing."
